Rosalie Haizlett Monongahela National Forest Watercolor Map
This original art print features a watercolor and ink illustrated map that I created to celebrate the 2020 centennial of the Monongahela National Forest, which protects over 921,000 acres of federally owned land in eastern West Virginia!
Featured creatures and landmarks: a native brook trout, red russula mushrooms, Spruce Knob, haircap moss, jack-in-the-pulpit flower, yellow birch tree, Appalachian grizzled skipper, West Virginia northern flying squirrel, Cranberry Glades Botanical Area, Seneca Rocks, and the High Falls of the Cheat. The hiker walking on the Cranberry Glades boardwalk is my sister. :)
Paper: Printed by a local print shop in West Virginia on 100# textured white felt paper (for the look & feel of watercolor paper!).
This print is available as an 11x14 inch print.
